Limited Time Disneyland Kids Deal: $50 Tickets

Good morning, dear readers! If you’ve got little ones at home who want to experience Tiana’s Great Bayou Adventure, immerse themselves in the Star Wars universe, or maybe just meet Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five gang, you’re in luck. There’s a new limited-time Disneyland kids deal and your resident childless millennial has the full report!

In case you haven’t heard, kids between the ages of 3 – 9 years can currently visit Disneyland for only $50 (usually, a day ticket for them would cost anywhere between $112 – $183ish). Plus, unlike many Disney ticket deals, which usually require you to purchase tickets for multiple days to maximize the discounts, you ONLY have to purchase a 1-day ticket for it actually to be $50. So, it is an actual discount, not just some strange loophole that doesn’t really save you money in the long run 😅

Am I Missing Out if I Don’t Get Park Hopper?

Not necessary. Although getting a Park Hopper makes more sense overall at the Disneyland Resort than it would at Walt Disney World (since you can walk from Disneyland to Disney California Adventure in less than five minutes), you can also enjoy doing one park per day.

*FYI: When I say “Disneyland Resort,” I don’t mean resort hotels. The term “Disneyland Resort” refers to the entire Disneyland California property, which includes Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the local hotels owned by Disney. It’s confusing and I don’t know why they chose this term, but it is what it is.

Disneyland and Disney California Adventure can take an entire day to enjoy, so if I were personally taking advantage of this deal, I’d go for the 2-day ticket for $100 or just the 1-day ticket for $50 if two days were too much. Either way, your Kid will have plenty to see and do.

The 2-day ticket will enable you to get to your favorite attractions without feeling the need to rush around, and even then, it’s highly unlikely that you’ll run out of things to do. I myself have been to the Disneyland Resort more times than any adult should care to admit, and there are still rides I haven’t been on and restaurants I haven’t dined at.
